Mike Smalley, Florida Regional Manager

Michael H. Smalley is the Area Manager of Waterstone Mortgage Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of WaterStone Bank SSB. He is a nationally recognized expert on mortgage planning and business plan implementation. He is the youngest featured speaker in the history of the LoanToolbox Business Plan Conference in Las Vegas. Mike also was a featured speaker at the recent Mortgage Revolution conference in Atlanta. In addition, he holds monthly training workshops for Realtors in the Orlando, FL area.

Mike was the first Florida mortgage advisor to receive the Certified Mortgage Advisor Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist designations. Since entering the industry in 2002 Mike has built a business that comes 100% from repeat clients, and referrals from clients, financial advisors, realtors, accountants and attorneys. He works hard to make sure that his clients mortgages are in line with their broader financial goals.

Mike and his wife Jacqueline live in Winter Park, FL with their sons Gavin and Dillon, and daughter Paige. Both Mike and Jacqueline are graduates of Florida State University, where he was a Varsity Baseball pitcher.

Prior to his career in the mortgage industry, Mike was a professional baseball player in the Atlanta Braves organization.
